"Isn't telling about something... already something of an invention? Isn't just looking upon this world already something of an invention? ... The world isn't just the way it is. It is how we understand it, no? And in understanding something, we bring something to it, no? Doesn't that make life a story?" -- "Life of Pi"

Dandelion wishes

A perfect specimen!
Pale little dandelion, in her white shroud, Heareth the angel-breeze call from the cloud. Tiny plumes fluttering, make no delay, Little winged dandelion, soareth away. --Helen Barron Bostwick
How sweet! I have a dandelion in my bud vase on my kitchen window ledge. My Littleman picks them for me every day while waiting at the bus stop. I'm a lucky mama.
